These are our largest Jiffy Peat Pellets measuring 2 inches in diameter and 7/8 inch in height or 50 x 95 mm. They will expand to 3 3/4 inches tall and 2 inches in diameter. They can go straight to the pot or the field without the risk of shock to the plant. These are great for the nursery or the garden. They are made completely out of peat moss so they are environmentally safe.
When they arrived I immediately refilled my 16-Jiffy large pellets trays. I have collected 15 over several years. I could only find Refills in small quantities. Already have plants started. Great price!!!
I had challenges with another system. It was so difficult to work with, Injured both hands and had to have surgery on each of them. I needed something that my weak hands could handle but would do the job in my garden. This was the answer! I installed it in my 60'-75' garden with no tools, no fuss and no hand surgeries. It is so easy to work with. I'm almost 67 and have no hand strength. But I could work this. I very highly recommend it, especially for women or someone who just doesn't have much hand strength. I've never seen such a thorough test as yours. I'm very excited to get my results. I will purchase again and recommend it to everyone who plants any type of garden!
Slow on receiving the kit but quick turnaround for the results. Found out about the kit from Deep South Homestead on YT. Test results pinpointed soil deficiencies and factors that are within range for vegetable growth. Knowing the deficiencies saved me money by not having to try hit and miss amendments. Time will tell but I believe having the test results will help me get the soil conditions tuned in to better growing success of both fruits and vegetables. I will submit another test this fall to check results and prepare for next year.
