Awesome product
Dewitt makes a high quality ground cover product. I've purchased the 4' wide version in the past. This 12' version is a little tough er manage the roll, weight wise. However, having fewer seams is a clear advantage. Very happy with this product and the service provided by Growers Solution.
So far so good. Laid out nicely. Torched 3 1/2 inch holes every 16 inches on center using a 1x6 template for strawberries in a raised bed. Will do nicely for annual strawberry production.
I have tried many kinds, I used this for the first time starting spring. My husband and son put it down for me. It was a complete game changer for my garden. If you research how to get the best usage of it, it makes a big difference. Keep it clear of mulch and dirt ,etc and you will not have weeds grow over the top of it. Overlapping the fabric would have been a better way of doing it in my case, so we will order more to overlap. Yes, it burns pretty awkward and fast, so I switched to cutting the holes and using a small lighter to burn edges gently. (Instead of torch method) I definitely should have put down more stakes, and I have fixed that. You must keep up with weeds that pop up in your cut or burnt holes. But for me that was so much easier to do than without this cover. I plan to order more, we are going to add another big garden of perrenials with flowers because this fabric has changed my whole garden experience.
We have other GS ground cover that works good but this one not so much Weeds growing thru within a couple weeks. Defeats the purpose of the fabric and it wasn’t cheap.
