Coiled Wire for 32 Row Cover hoops

  • Most plants don't like the weight of Row cover on them, so it is advisable to use hoops. The length to cut the wire depends on the widths of your own beds and the height of the plants to be covered. There is Approximately 171 ft. of wire in each Coil, and you can cut either with wire cutters or cut with a torch in 63 inch lengths. It will provide 32 hoops. Spacing should be about 3 to 5 feet apart. These will come off the Coil Pre-Bent, so they are easy to work with. Hoops are very important for season extension as plants touching row cover will get frost damage.

You can cut them to your desired length

Used 1/2" PVC to make chenille low tunnels. Works great, but wanted to use lighter weight wire hoops. Tried pre-cut straight spring steel wires. Nice because they spring back nearly straight making for easy winter storage. Problem is they are a little too short for some rows. Growers Wire is a single coil. You can cut it to the exact length you need. The wire is thick and solid. Works the best for my needs.

Spring of help

This is a great coil for using to hold frost overs or creating your own mini green house.

Very Nice Hoops

These really worked out well for making hoops for my garden. The deer have found it and the only way I can keep them out it to cover almost everything with insect netting.

Great solution

Easy to cut with wire cutters. Easy to form into tube for fabric covers. Worked perfectly to get a jump on the growing season.
