Great for Propagation! In horticultural applications, perlite is used throughout the world as a component of soilless growing mixes where it provides aeration and optimum moisture retention for superior plant growth. For rooting cuttings, 100% perlite is used. Studies have shown that outstanding yields are achieved with perlite hydroponic systems. Other benefits of horticultural perlite are its neutral pH and the fact that it is sterile and weed-free. In addition, its lightweight makes it ideal for use in container growing. Other horticultural applications for perlite are as a carrier for fertilizer, herbicides, and pesticides and for pelletizing seed. Horticultural perlite is as useful to the home gardener as it is to the commercial grower. It is used with equal success in greenhouse growing, landscaping applications, and in the home in house plants.
Each white granule is comprised of tiny closed air cells or bubbles which account for the lightweight, reflectivity, adsorptive capability, and superior insulating qualities. The surface of each granule is covered with tiny cavities providing a large surface area capable of retaining water, air, and nutrients. This physical structure makes Horticultural Perlite an ideal growing medium, providing optimum air-water relationships for efficient plant growth.

We've used these 6" pots two years to pot bare=root seedlings to give to school children. They work great for that purpose. Easy to transport. Allow seedlings to bud out before taking to schools. Easy to explain to kids how to plant the trees/shrubs without having to remove them from the pots. Smaller pots don't provide enough room inside to contain the roots of the seedlings.
These work GREAT in holding down your weed fabric! Easy to install and I’ve even used these in the garden to secure plant trellis strings.
Have ordered custom shade cloth from Growers Solution in the past and have been satisfied both times. I would order again.
Sturdy enough to be able to cut in half, to use 25 cells at a time, which is easier to handle.
I've used both ground covers and have been very satisfied with the performance of both. It's important to cut any folage as low as possible or and left over stumps or hard stems or roots. I use 30% vinegar on the area also. You will have some weeds appear at anchors. The vinegar will take careof that.

this wire is easy to cut with bolt cutters, and keeps the row covers off my plants. My veggies and herbs are so happy
This cover fits great over my raised beds! It's going to help keep pests out of my garden! especially the squirrels and cats that live in my neighborhood. this cover will also reduce the need for sprays and other Chemicals I don't want on my garden. Great product! Everything I have planted under it is growing well.
This pot size is perfect for potting up rooted cuttings and seedlings. There is plenty of room to grow on for a while. Also great for dahlia pot tubers.
Large enough the plants can get to a sufficient size for planting without multiple transplants
I haven't used these yet, but I think they will work great! They are more durable than some others I've purchased, and size is right.
