CowPots are a biodegradable planting pot made from composted cow manure. Your plants will love these pots!
CowPots were created by a group of dairy-farming brothers in Connecticut. Since 1997, they are one of only a few farms across the United States to have continuously run a methane digester. This is a process in which the raw manure from the cows is heated and stored in a large tank. The methane gas is collected and burned. At the end of this process, the solids are separated from the liquid. The liquid goes back to the field to grow next year's crops which feed the cows. The solids continue composting.
The CowPot manufacturing process removes all weeds, pathogens, and odor. All that's left is the natural fiber and goodness of manure: the perfectly plantable pot! Farmers and gardeners have always considered cow manure a wholesome organic soil amendment for their gardens.
This product helps farmers reduce the nutrient load on their farms which directly contributes to a better and cleaner environment. They have been proven to grow bigger, better plants for the consumers who have no plastic to discard and overload our landfills. The ideal product for farmers and growers.
CowPots have been tested and recommended by The National Home Gardening Club with a 96% approval rating! They've also won the Mail Order Gardening Association's Green Thumb Award and Joe Lamp'l's (of DIY's Fresh from the Garden and PBS's GardenSMART) Best of the Must-Haves for 2008!
Q: What is the difference between a Jiffy Pot & Cowpot?
A: Jiffy Pots are made out of peat moss while CowPots are made from composted cow manure. Both are great options for seed starting and keeping plastic out of our landfills.
What a great invention! I've been using CowPots to start about 100 vegetables and flowers every spring for the past 3 years. Prior to that, I used plastic pots- they are terrible! Why? 1-They are made from oil or gas which we need to leave in the ground. 2-After 2 or 3 years they start cracking up and have to be thrown away. 3- Even after scrubbing with hot soapy water, they transmit algae, fungus, etc. from the prior year. Unlike pots made from cardboard or fiber, CowPots actually break down and fertilize your soil!
Our organization grows mangroves, and these work perfect.
Really like these vinyl drip pans. They will fit all of my hanging baskets with ease and save me time by holding the excess water for the plants. I have been ordering these every year for the past 4 years. Wish they would just sell the hanging rods by themselves.
Seem to be great quality, look like regular peat pots, no smell. Trying them out with my spring starts in the greenhouse, so far work as they are suppose to.
Excellent in every way. High quality product at competitive price, packaged well, quick shipping. A+ to Growers!
I raise tropical hybrid hibiscus and was looking for trays to hold my 1 gallon pots without buying a hundred or more. I found Grower's solution, placed the order and very quickly received everything. Great trays!

This dome is very sturdy and fits the flats as described. If taken care of these can be used multiple years.
We have been using this ground cover for the past 3 years! WOW! What a gamechanger. No weeds to pull! We love this product and will continue to use it anywhere we are gardening, whether in ground or raised beds. We even have it as the floor of our 16' x 28' greenhouse (also purchased from Grower's Solution).
The pots are very durable and hold up for multiple seasons in the Georgia sun.
I repot my fig trees in these pots and they work perfect.
Will serve my purpose perfectly. Will be buying more.
Just what I needed for my high tunnel roll up sides
Instead of mulch, I use used sanitary pads which give all the nutrients tomatoes want.
