Great for extending the season or over wintering. Holds up well if properly secured and can be reused several years. I grow lettuce , carrots, spinach and similar greens, all winter long most years, here in zone 7b! This is a bit heavy on sunlight and rain transmission and I use a lighter fabric until hard freezing temps threaten ,for faster growth.
