Q: Will the 1801 Deep insert fit in a 1020 tray or webflat?
A: Yes, these are designed to easily nest & de-nest from standard 1020 trays & webflats.
I haven't used these yet, but I think they will work great! They are more durable than some others I've purchased, and size is right.
These fit the shelves in my grow-light plant racks perfectly. I prefer to start my seeds in larger cells with more soil, the little tiny cells are just a nuisance in my opinion. These larger cells don't dry out as easily and I don't have to transplant the little seedlings. I only grow for my own use, not commercially and I'm all about convenience. We have a 2+ acre ornamental garden and a small kitchen garden. I start almost all of my annual 'fill-in' plants each spring, and all of my tomatoes, peppers, etc., and some perennials too. These cell packs seem sturdy and I should be able to re-use them for several seasons. Thanks for providing quality products.
These inserts are very sturdy and well made. I tend to reuse my inserts and these do not rip like otheres I had purchased in the past elsewhere.
