Smother Those WEEDS!
While you pull weeds, you strain your back. Using chemicals hurts your soul, and soil, so what are we gardeners to do? A simple method for weed removal can also help add organic matter to the soil, and make it a nice texture and tilth! Take any kind of newspaper, construction paper, cloths, and cardboard that can degrade and benefit the soil texture. Watch out for plastic tape, heavy paints, and dye or inks that could hinder a perfect soil structure.
Just lay the cardboard over the desired area of destruction! Water and wait. This water and ground covering will smother the weeds and kill them within a few weeks, allowing more time for other jobs to be completed instead of wasting time on weeding, and money on chemical sprays.
